I began starting my seeds about Valentine’s Day. It is March 12th and I am still starting seeds.
I want to have a good supply of fresh seedlings to plant in the garden all summer long. I never know what disaster will cause plant death; weather, digging animal, birds, etc.
I will begin to plant the tomatoes outside when I am pretty sure the nights are going to remain above 50F. Otherwise they will stay in their pots where they are growing nicely at above 50F.
IGardening tips are here in my videos on You Tube: www.youtube.com/user/LeslierDoyle and you can also subscribe to my monthly email desert gardening newsletter – request it by sending me an email: firstname.lastname@example.org. No Spam, I promise.
