The Cascade Garden in Longwood Gardens’ West Conservatory is designed around the vertical feell of the greenhouse. Water cascades enter into secluded pools bordered by rocks, with plants of different textures growing around them, such as bromeliads. According to Longwood Gardens’ Web site, many of the plants are "epiphytic" plants, which are plants that grow on other plants and use them for support but do not feed off them.
The plants in this garden, which include earth-stars and philodendrons, cover the ground like a carpet and also cling to the walls, which makes it more of a "jungle room" than the one at Graceland. 😀
